Nantucket is our FAVORITE bakery in the area - we go at least once a week to get our go-to delicious treats. We were lucky... enough to have them make our wedding desserts and cake for our wedding and they were outstanding. Jenna at the main location isincredible to work with. I ordered a specialty cake from Nantucket. I had a picture of what I wanted. It was ?Pearls sixteenth birthday cake? from... SpongeBob. Not only was it spot on for design, but it was the most delicious cake I?ve ever had! We did chocolate cake withvanilla in the middle. It came packaged to withstand trip to party, it held up nicely at the beach. I will definitely beordering all my cakes here from now on. Read more
We used Nantucket Baking Co for our wedding and cannot say enough great things about how everything turned out! We ordered a LOT... of dessert thinking that we would have leftovers for our guests to take with them...nope! Not a SINGLE PIECE of dessert wasleft! People loved everything that much that they went up for seconds and thirds (ha!). Chef Jenna designed our wedding cake andwas a joy to work with from start to finish. I love croissants, but good ones are hard to find in the midwest. I heard NBC made great pastry, and they did not disappoint! I... brought a box of goodness home, and tried lots of different items. I LOVED the plain croissant, the ham and gruyere croissant,the blueberry and cheese danish, and the margherita pizza croissant (looks like a slice of NY style pizza, but croissant forcrust, fun!). I also liked the double chocolate croissant, the cardamom bun and the bear claw (my wife didn't love this one b/cthe apples and raisin were maybe soaked in something? I couldn't put my finger on the flavor *shrug*) The breads looked like delicious hearth loaves, and I've heard from my sister that the sourdough is excellent.
