Hands down the best fried chicken!! Super juicy and flavorful like straight out of your old granny?s kitchen on a Sunday... afternoon, absolutely delicious!! The Mac and cheese has just the right bite with a white cheese sauce that?s to die for. Wealso had the lumpia that is fried perfectly with delicious filling and great sauce! The staff is friendly and the restaurant isinviting. Read more

We are not from kansas city, but happenned to be there that day and was looking for place to have lunch. So we google and found... this place. Since they just opened, nobody was there but one table who they already served and us. The menu i saw on googlethat other people took was different than the one they currently have so be aware. They must've changed it (which i didn't knewthat time) so i kindly asked for clarification if their economy bilao comes with veggies and the guy taking order answeredsarcastically "do you see it in the menu" i didn't bother explaining to him that i saw different menu online because of the wayhe answered. In regards to food, the bbq was good and the sisig was actually chicken not pork but i like the taste. Crispypata was also good. I didn't know what "broasted" chicken was and was disappointed that its fried chicken. It taste okay butnot what i expect them to serve in a "bilao" since im looking for authentic filipino food. I highly suggest to the owner tochange it to grilled chicken or at least have that option for customers to pick. For some reason its early in the morning andthey already didn't have the lechon kawali that suppose to come with the bilao we ordered so instead they double the portion ofthe fried chicken. I appreciate the gesture, but i wish we were asked what we wanted in replacement for what they were lacking(lumpia would've been better replacement). The pancit was good but looked so plain ( didn't have much sahog- veggies /chicken). The kutsinta was not good, it was kinda hard and grainy and didn't even come with shredded coconut on top considering its $1.50each piece. Halo halo was okay, the banana they put were hard. Food was a little overpriced in my opinion with no service. It's mainly a self serve eatery. You pay first in the counter then you get your own utensils, plates, water, condiments andeven to go boxes at the end. They did not have that sign anywhere nor did the guy who took our Read more

Definitely one of the most authentic Filipino restaurants in the KC area. They have Bilao platters that can feed an fairly large... family. They are also very accommodating with orders. For example, they made the sinigang (tamarind soup) more sour for ourparty. The only real drawback is the longer than usual wait and small restaurant. To their credit, the food is definitely allprepared fresh, made to order. I highly recommend if you want to try authentic Filipino cuisine. Read more

Staff was super friendly, my girlfriend and I had to eat outside due to the limited space and party indoor however I really... enjoyed the breeze and calmness of the area. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed the subtlety of the chicken and porkadobos flavor. Came with a pineapple and a generous portion of rice. All in all a really wonderful experience if you likeFilipino food and even if you don't definitely give this place a try, you may come to love it. Read more
