These seems to be the typical pic that?s advertised for this place, but I think it?s a little misunderstood. This is the Tofu... Combo, and it?s not just a platter of a variety of different foods to choose from you simply eat with a fork. It?s a playhousefor your tastebuds! And it?s fun to eat! The rolls you see around the borders are rolls of bread called ?injera.? They feellike they?re fun, gelatin dessert rolls, but nope- it?s vegan bread!!! I was pleasantly surprised. Anyway, you tear offindividual pieces of these bread wraps and grip the ingredients with your fingertips. It?s like you customize every single bite!It?s seriously fantastic, and it was very fun. Even finishing the dish was satisfying, because it was like there was exactlyenough bread to match the ingredients, and it?s vegan, so there?s no ?bad Karma (=bad energy)? from any tortured while alive ordead animals. To be honest, I didn?t even know what I was eating except for the line of tofu and the bread, but I tell youwhat: I certainly enjoyed it! (P.S. First time stopping by and yummmmm! ???? I've never had Ethiopian cuisine before but it was all so delicious. I tried a salad... and combo with split peas, kale, lentils and curried veggies.
