Came in for lunch and had the pick two. The chicken enchilada was very good but the side salad was full of browned lettuce. ... After trying to pick out the bad parts I gave up and set it aside. When our waitress came by and I told her, she apologized andsaid she was going to the kitchen to see why they were serving bad lettuce. While we were eating, I noticed the fake plants onthe ledge above our table were dirty and had cobwebs going from one plant to another. When the manager happened to walk past, Istopped her and let her know about my salad and how dirty their fake plants were. When I asked if she could see the dust shesaid she couldn?t without her glasses and pointed to the top of her head. Instead of putting her glasses on, the manager, whosaid her name was Rachel, said she would check with the kitchen (?because, you know, lettuce goes bad quickly?) and she said shewill make sure the cleaning crew knows to clean the plants, which she said she had taken down and washed a couple of months ago. Through all of this, no one was concerned that on a pick two meal, one of the items was inedible. Discount my meal? Nope. Butwe were informed twice how this restaurant was trying to be #1 I signing up rewards members. Our waitress was awesome and isnamed Madison. 2 days ago attended wedding reception that was catered by OTB Grandville location. WOW top notch! We had appetizers and... fajitas. Everything was so fresh, hot, and very tasty. Shout out to the staff, Stacy and Oliver !! They were amazing,smiling, and kept food stocked well and worked hard! They even started clearing the tables. Very impressed. I wish more of the weddings I attended chose to have On the Border Grandville feed their guests. I mean, delicious fajitas over... rubber chicken every single time, thank you! Shout out to staff Stacy and Oliver who worked so hard! Flawless attention todetail and all with smiles on their faces and amazing energy. It was obvious they loved what they were doing. Really happy with having my post show cheat meal here. Nachos were bomb and the brisket tacos were amazing! The honey shrimp... tacos were pretty spicy but really delicious.
