Sorry but as good as the place looks, was disappointed with the food. Taco meat was watery and bland. Beef tip was ok but needed... salt. Rice.. "Couldn't pay me to eat it" says wife.. Salsa is best part. Tried cheese "dip", watered down to a sauce. The 2stars is for the servers and looks. But food is priority and i cant come back. Read more
Enjoyed our meal here last night. New space is terrific, bright and comfortable. That's a huge positive. Food was good / solid... Tex Mex. Rice was very authentic, liked that a lot. Salsa was terrific, but more of an authentic table salsa, than most folksare probably used to (particularly the Hacienda crowd). Mole was good, but is a REALLY sweet version. Everything else (Chimi's,tacos) were ok. Tasty, but nothing special. Service was...kinda of oddly disjointed. Pleasant and friendly, but disappeared forlong stretches. Couldn't get drinks refills or napkins. In general, we liked it & think it has a lot of potential. We'lldefinitely be back. Read more
Meat in the tacos is fantastic. A bit disappointing that you only get one shell with each soft corn taco - 2 is best. Another... reason for 4 stars - you can't order individual tacos. Having said that, I'll still go back because of the fantastic serviceand tasty food. A few minor changes gets the full 5! Read more
