I’m here for military training, and on a Saturday night I wanted to go down with some of the guys from my unit and have dinner... on the fly due to ease of access. I’m staying in the hotel here where the restaurant is located and there was a live bandplaying. I got stopped on entry because there is a $7 fee to pay because there is live music. I ended up skipping dinner alltogether and eating chips in my room because they wouldn’t let people come in without paying the fee for the band. In myhonest opinion I don’t care who the band is, unless it’s a concert and I’m going for that sole reason I won’t be payingfor live music. The restaurant should cover that cost to bring in guests and not make the guests pay for that if they just wantto eat dinner and leave. Unreal that Veterans Day weekend I can’t go celebrate at a restaurant without paying a fee for amediocre band I don’t care to listen to. Food on the other hand is good and the bartender is an extremely nice hard workingfellow. Don’t get me wrong the place all together on a night without an event is great. Hotel prices... haven't had a lot of experience with restaurants in hotels so was a bit surprised at the prices. $8-10 for a... good hamburger I can understand....$14 for a grilled chicken salad; $20 for a serving of salmon; $36 for a steak?
