Uncle Julio’s was pretty basic for a Mexican restaurant potentially trying to take advantage of the proximity to DFW and the... Gaylord Convention center. The rice was hard, like it’d been stuck to the side of a pot, the beans were just okay and theentree was pretty bland. The guac was pretty chunky with hard avocado pieces. I felt rushed in and out even though there wereabout 10 people in the restaurant at 6 o’clock when I went. My total came out to over $30 with tip, all said and done, whichin my opinion was pretty high for the quality and quantity of food. Read more

Went on Father's day at 2pm and I can understand its a busy day but still somethings has to be right. I ordered Fajitas and they... forgot to give me tortilla even after reminding them twice. When tortillas came, my food was cold and had to send for heatingup. Flavor was ok compared to other mexican restaurants. Chicken was very dry. Quantity was good.
