We were a party of 5. Hubby had Ruben with sauerkraut and thought it was okay. Daughter ordered bacon cheeseburger and liked... it. My cousin ordered brisket dinner. Her brisket tough. Her hubby ordered a Ruben with coleslaw and got a Ruben withsauerkraut. They never offered to take it back and make it right. They just brought him a side of slaw, which is prettydispleasing if you don't like sauerkraut. I ordered the brisket with bbq sauce and received brisket with gravy. They offered tobring a side of bbq sauce. I asked if they could remake it without the gravy. They took it away and brought it back with thegravy scraped off. Great atmosphere and I'd definitely go back, just hoping they can get the orders right next time. Read more

The food is actually pretty good. The problem is they either don't have enough personnel or no management. Iv been there 3 times... every time it takes way to long for food or drinks. Also they messed up the order twice in 1 visit. Read more

Friendly outgoing weight staff. The salmon dip was served warm which was delightfully surprising, great bold flavor served with... warm garlic toast. Their brisket was slightly dry but it was the last one of the day. I feel there is a missed opportunityconsidering that they have a smoker in the front but serve the brisket with bottled barbecue sauce. I forgot to take a picturebut The brownie and ice cream was delicious. Read more

Deep in the sleepy little area of Portage lake (grass lake) you'll find this great restaurant. Plenty of parking, cold beer,... and a great pulled pork sandwich after a day at the lake is nothing to take lightly. However it doesn't stop there. Say yourcamping close by and you want some food for you and your guests by the fire, this wondrous place sells pulled pork, slabs ofribs, and brisket by the pound. Get yourself a couple pounds of brisket to sit at your site with your family or even as quickmeals for the weekend. Now, I know what you're thinking. Ok great restaurant, but what else they got? What sets them apart?Great outdoor seating, good music, games for the family, drinking games for your table, my little ones even got a prize from thewaitress for finishing their food! Name another place that does that! We'll be going back for 3 day weekends just for thisplace. The prices weren't bad either especially for the kids. Grilled cheese and fries was $5. A small bowl of mac and cheesefor the baby was $3. Can't beat that. Read more
