Food was great. We got a table right away and service was fast and polite. The Portobello mushroom roll was really good!

Good-sized sushi with goodly amount of "innards", e.g., avocado, salmon, etc, etc. Rice was soft, in contrast to so many other... sushi places where the rice is harder than I like it, so softer rice is a good thing. Interesting that this was the first time,in hundreds of orders of sushi from tens of restaurants, that many of our sushi pieces fell apart upon lifting them from theplate. Who would have thought you could get great sushi two hours outside of Sacramento. This spot has obviously been around for awhile... and they have their food dialed in perfectly! You'd be hard pressed to find tempura that strikes the appropriate balance moreperfectly and as you get into the sushi each plate kept on delivering one after the other.
