Me and my husband, and our friends came to tap for the first time for dinner 3 of us ordered medium kc strips and 1 was ordered... med we?ll all the steaks came out pretty close to RAW! Visited for the first time today for lunch (11:30am). Everything was very good until we were in the pool area and trying to get... a drink. The lady with curly hair kept looking at it and eventually scanned it, told me it was 100% fake. She scanned my twofriends ID?s and as far as I know, theirs turned out fine. They are 21 and I?m 5 years older than them. She then walked away.The problem I have is she let us stand there for another 10 minutes without staying a word. I finally got her attention and shestated that she wouldn?t serve us because she knew I was underage? Well, the fact is in 25 and my ID is issued by the state ofmissouri. I also had a credit card with my name on it I showed the manager. I ended up going to the bar outside of the pool andtalked to Jackson asking him to scan my ID. He told me right off the bat he knew it was real. He talked to me and made me feelbetter and apologized. I understand it?s not Jackson?s fault (which he was great) and the lady at the pool bar is doing her job,but communicate with me. If you think my ID is fake and don?t want to serve me, you need to tell me instead of letting us standthere for 10 minutes. The lady?s that helped us dock and our waitress for food were fantastic. Very attentive andpersonable. I?m very hesitant to come back with the entire family because how do I know my parents will be served drinks iftheir ID scans as fake? My advice to management is to not rely so heavily on these apps to scan ID?s. Have your employees usetheir judgement and if they SAY they are calling the cops, then do it. Don?t lie just to scare us. I was waiting for the policeto arrive to look at my ?fake? ID. Side note, if you think an ID is fake, I would think that the bar would keep the ID and NOTgive it back? Maybe the pool side bar lady realized that it was indeed real and I was of age and she became embarrassed to goback on her words. What a perfect way to end the summer season with a beautiful night at Tap and Grill, along with great music with Chill Band.... Food was delicious, drinks were amazing, service was outstanding, company was welcoming and just all around wonderfulexperience. My only complaint is you have to buy bottled water. You should be able to get a glass of water with a meal and nothave to pay extra. That is a bit of an insult when the prices are already fairly significant.
