Fantastic fine dining experience. We came here on a Sunday afternoon for a family event and it was fantastic, and so worth... it. I really enjoyed the fact the restaurant is secluded and quiet. The menu could be overwhelming at first, but the staff issuper patient, kind and informative. The fixed-price menu includes an appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. La Coquille deCrustaces was a very delicious and fresh appetizer I would recommend to those that love seafood. For an entree, the lamb chopswere perfectly cooked and seasoned, while the ice cream dessert with pie was great without being too sweet. The salad would bethe only dish I thought tasted “average” amongst all the other spectacular dishes. While you wait for your food, they willbring out fresh bread, butter and a cheese mix that is delicious. We also got a small cup serving of soup (yum!). Read more

Dined here for Sunday Lunch last weekend. The service was exceptional. My husband had visited in the past and knew it was a... prix fixe menu but it was my first time. It was a pleasure to have a sommelier come over to our table to meet us and advise ona Cabernet that we both enjoyed. I’ve ordered escargot at other restaurants but this was truly authentic. Don’t let itintimidate you, because they were easily removed from their shells, as well. I ordered the veal and it was a great choice. Thesauce was a nice compliment to the flavors. My husband’s filet was cooked perfectly and mushrooms were so good! The raspberrysoufflé was the best I’ve ever had. We highly recommend L’Auberge Chez Francois. You will definitely spend more than usualfor a meal but if you appreciate the best , fresh ingredients prepared by a truly gifted chef, you will see the value. Also,It’s not just about the food, it’s an experience. Read more

This is my favorite french restaurant in dmv. I visited here during the dinner service and the place was packed. Make sure you... make a reservation. I ordered a dinner course and everything was really good. The basket of breads was really good and so arethe appetizers. I ordered lobster and tenderloin and they were perfectly cooked. Even desserts were delicious, especially crèmebrûlée and cheesecake. This is a perfect place for any celebrations. I highly recommend this place. Read more
