This is a really wonderful authentic Afghan restaurant. My wife and I go here regularly. Food is always consistently delicious... and interesting. Dor, the owner of the restaurant, always sources fresh products. Great atmosphere inside and also nice place todine outside on a warm day. I can?t say enough good about this place. Read more

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would! I?m incredibly impressed by the flavor combinations and the quality of the... food. Unfortunately, I don?t come up to this area (from Florida) too often, otherwise I?d go through the entire menu. Cannotwait to come back next time in I?m town! What a delightful evening from beginning to end. The owner, Dor Niaz showed his wonderful personality and sense of humor as he... was leading us to our table. It just got better and better. His recommendations were all spot on. The wine was excellent,entrees very good, special/creative side dishes that he blessed us with, bread out of this world, dessert, atmosphere, etc. etc. Dor is very engaging and we conversed with him on many subjects all the time as he served us. He shared personal stories abouthimself including cooking in Italy with a bunch of Italian chefs just for themselves to enjoy a feast. I wish I was there:) Wediscovered Dor's Afghan restaurant as a result of a recent Northern VA magazine article on the area's top 50 restaurants and ofcourse his was one. We will be back but it will be hard to duplicate such a wonderful first time experience. Read more
