Food was good. Solid on flavor, portion size, and authenticity. However did not have a majority of their menu in stock so... choices were extremely limited. Best chi in town though. So worth the visit to try. Read more

This place is a hidden gem! The injera platter (I don’t remember the proper name) is only served on weekends, but it is so... delicious. The chai was good, too. I will definitely be going back! The service was friendly and attentive :) Read more

Nobody was in the restaurant when we arrived and it took a couple minutes for someone to come out of the back and greet us. The... dining room looked as if it was a cafeteria. A bit dirty, crooked tv on the wall, 1 small wall hanging and a couple woven vasesas the only decorations. Also 2 out of place drink refrigerators...that you served yourself from...even water. As for thefood....what we ordered was good, but with a few issues. We started with 2 Sambusas (?), the meat filled fried appetizers. They were really good. A sauce would have been nice, but maybe that's a cultural thing? Next we ordered the Sport Plate familymeal to share. It came with 2 chicken legs, a fried tilapia side, braised goat, a ton of rice and spaghetti, and a tinysalad... The rice...SO good! Perfectly cooked and seasoned well! Spaghetti...weird...why? Ok tasting though. Salad...exactly as described on menu, lettuce, tomato and ranch....now, for a meal that is supposed to server 2-3 people, thesalad was barely enough for 1. On to the meat...chicken tasted great, but was dry/over-cooked, tilapia I thought was a bitbland and dry/overcooked, and the goat...very nice, a bit gamey as expected, braised so there was still good moisture, andreally tasty...the vegetables with the goat was really good too! There was enough rice and spaghetti for 3-4 people....thoseportions were huge! There was enough meat for 2 maybe 3. Maybe the over cooked meat is a cultural thing, but who knows. Iwould have just like things to be a bit less cooked. Now, would I eat there again? Yes...I would just do the fried sambusasand rice! Read more
