Great smoked hams Not much of a restaurant/store for takeout
Delivery was promt and on time. The order was made online by friends in another state. No one was home to receive order. Owners... were persistent and did not leave order on porch. The waited until someone could accept the order. They hand delivered and werevery pleasent. It is so very nice to see people that are happy serving you. Food was one point and very delicious. I'm 8 & 1/2 months pregnant and this place has completely RUINED my Thanksgiving this year!!! I ordered a holiday meal trying to... make things simple for myself and my family. I prepaid days in advance and selected a specific pick up time. I drove 45 minutesto get there only to be told there is no separate line for prepaid pickup orders with specified times and that I would have towait 2 hours in line! I have never experienced anything like this before and honestly couldn't believe it! They were extremelyrude and there was no way I was going to wait in line for that long especially being so pregnant. I decided to leave and now I'mheaded to the grocery store to scramble to find things and prepare a Thanksgiving meal for my family. Just facts- ordered our $100 Tgiving dinner and paid online. Arrived at 5:20 to pick it up on 11/23 (told to arrive by 5:30) and... waited in line, mostly outside, till 6:30 with roughly 50 people with similar stories. Another line of phoned in orders and walkins was inside the door and moved a bit faster. Wound up handing my cellphone to a worker so she could read my order off thescreen and put it together, except for the Honey Ham. A different worker eventually approached with two hams, neither what Iordered, but he offered the substitute since they didn't have what I ordered. Left an hour and 10 min after arrival to pickup myonline order. 6:30 was their stated closing time but I saw about 6 people still in line outside the shop at 6:30 when I left.Food was good, as always.
