Los Banditos offers decent food overall. A little more spicy then what I would prefer at times but manageable. The atmosphere... reminds me of a mix of an older super club and my grandparents basement... It's just gives you an old school feel. The specialtytacos I had where jerk chicken tacos. They where delicious overall but for $10 you get 2 tacos with no sides. The menu is a mixof Mexican food, American and Italian. I would say definitely not a traditional Mexican restaurant but the food is decent. Read more
Friday nights are very busy and we waited ~45 minutes for a table and our food took a while. I'd go back during a slower time,... but even with the crowd the service and food was great! We were able to sit at the bar while we waited and service/staff werefriendly and attentive. The chili con queso and tacos tasted great! They offer daily food/drink specials. Read more

My family has been going to Los Banditos for over 30 years, and usually it is superb. Today we had a waitress that is newer... within the last year or so (probably the 3rd time we've had her) our food was not hot, nor was she very attentive to us. When mymother asked if she could light the little candle on the table her response was "if I get time". Which is crazy for a waitressto say to a customer. I would have understood if it was busy in there, but it was not busy at all. We had to constantly ask foranything we needed, and then had to wait 10 minutes each time we needed something. We have decided we need a new spot for ourweekly outings. Which sucks because we go to Los Banditos every Friday night in the fall and winter months for the last 10 yearsfor sure and sporadically prior to that. Since Doc retired the quality of service and food has just steadily been going down. Sosad. Read more

We got there about 8:45pm and when we sat down our waitress Heidi rushed us to order stating they are closing the kitchen at 9.... I had three other family members joining us so I had to call them to get there order. Our appetizers came at the same time asour food and when they brought our entrees we were missing a whole plate. We brought this to our waitress's attention and sherudely stated well I'm not bringing it out so one of our family members had to watch us all eat and because we were upset andmade a deal of it she said keep it up and I'll cancel your fried ice cream and cheesecake (we had ordered). She never broughtour dessert, never refilled our empty drinks, and ended up upsetting my little guy so bad he cried. I can't believe what ahorrible experience we had here. What a waste of our time and money and we can't get either back. Read more
