I typically don't order Chili because it's too spicy, however The Rite Place's Chili was just perfect, amazingly delicious ??
I guess I'd call it "pub" food in a kind of laid back open "pub" atmosphere. We went on a Friday night, 7 or so. They were out... of many fish items. Being WISCONSIN, you don't "run out" of FISH FRY. Also out of unsweetened Iced tea. Not bad, not great.Service was good. Read more

There were 4 people in our group. They do not take reservations, and we showed up at 5:30 on Sunday of Labor Day weekend. The... dining room was full, so we chose to sit on the patio in order to sit right away. It was their Chicken Special night. Theoptions were broasted or baked chicken. As I walked through the dining room, I noticed it seemed every person had orderedchicken! Two of us chose baked chicken and the other two chose broasted chicken. Broasted means fried in a pressure/deepfryer. I was served 4 pieces, a mix of white and dark meat. It was very moist and delicious! I chose sides of a baked potato,dressing, and cole slaw. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal. The portions are large. There were definitely leftovers totake home! By the time we were done, the weather had turned a little brisk. If you choose to sit outside, I would recommend awarm jacket. The cool nights are starting sooner since fall has started. This is obviously a well-loved restaurant.
