Lovely diner! Great breakfast food. Loved the home fries as well as the blueberry pancakes and pecan waffle.
We've driven by this place so many times and finally went in for our first visit earlier this week. I loved it. The staff was... great, the atmosphere is cozy, the prices are great, and the burger and fries and had were delicious. Tasted like good ole homecookin! Read more
Jake's diner is an unpretentious independent diner. The food was delicious and was priced fairly. It seems to be popular with... locals who are regular patrons and are a friendly bunch. They tend to talk to everybody around them are very inclusive of newguests and those that are traveling through. I would say this is the Cheers of mom and pop diners. The menu was mainly Americanabut had some Italian and Greek options. The service was perfect, friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. The food came outquickly , prepared exactly as requested. If I lived close, I would be a regular too. Highly recommend stopping by and havingtheir Ribeye sandwich, but the menu had other great options. Their burgers were large hand patties with fresh slices of tomatoand lettuce. Stop by for dinner and you won't be disappointed- great food, great prices, great service! Read more
Stopped today for brunch and it was hopping busy. The wait staff looked like a finely tuned machine. Ordered the Philly cheese... steak omelet and it was amazing. The grits were cooked correctly. Hot excited and ate half my omelet before remembering to takea photo. We will definitely be back. Read more

We were told to sit wherever and we chose a booth. Our server came promptly and took our order. After she brought our food, she... never came back to our table to check on us or do drink refills. We waited for over 20 minutes and our server was sitting at thebar on her phone and chatting with two other servers. One time she came right near us to wait on a table where folks had justcome in but didn?t check on us. They were not busy so we called the manager over to complain but he didn?t do anything but shrughis shoulders. At that point she came back and slapped the check on the table and ran off. No offer of drink refills or anapology on the wait time. I had to go find a take home container myself. When she did come back to bring back the credit card,my husband complained to her about her service and she told us we weren?t a table assigned to her. So he told her she stillshould have finished taking care of us since she had started. On our way out another waitress told us not to come back which weclearly weren?t planning to do with such terrible service. It?s a shame because the food was pretty good. Read more
