I had the most wonderful dinner with my partner at Lao!. She told me about it and it sounded interesting, once I saw the menu I... knew we made the right choice. We ordered the wings, money bags, green papaya salad, and for dessert the sweet mango rice whichwas delicious!. All the flavors paired so well with our drinks, we had La Paleta and a Margarita, loved the toasted coconut rimon it. Flavors were extraordinary, the setting was calm and very adequate to talk across the table, we could not stopdescribing how incredible all the flavors of our food were!. The family really enjoyed the food here. The noodles were cooked al dente and the taste of the dish was excellent. The 'money... bags' were delicious. Wayyyyyy overpriced for appetizer portions. On top of that, you can tell that the cuisine is tamped down for its clientele... making the food only a bad imitation of Laotian recipes. Severely disappointed in this place. For reference, I had the Laab andpapaya salad. Have found way better versions with larger portions for half the price at the local Hmong New Year and otherrestaurants. Go elsewhere if you want the real thing. Read more
