This is the ideal place for country cooking. There is a wide variety of meats and sides. I especially love their mac and cheese... but of course everything is good. This visit I ordered the turkey wings with gravy, mac and cheese and collards with hushpuppies. The servings are very generous which I like. The best home style country food is ever tasted besides my grandmas RIP. ALL the food fresh cooked and fills you up and packs... your plate full too. Great prices for great southern cooked food. Although there was a bit of a line, the food and experience was worth it. The servers were patient and kind. The food was... flavorful but not too salty. They offer a variety of soul food options. I had the daily special, "Smothered Turkey wings" thatincluded two sides, bread and a drink for only $9.99. It is enough food for two- three people. My brother had Salisbury steak,cabbage, catfish, greens and green beans. Everything was good. I would return to this restaurant. My food was so good. However, I wish I would have gone during a less busy time. I went there around 5-6pm and they were out of... Mac&cheese and mashed potatoes. They were the only reason I chose this restaurant. I ended up getting a rib combo plate withrice and fries. The ribs were good and the sauce was sweet. It?s very hot inside and I waited around for 40 min to get my food.It?s kind of a like a school lunch line where you wait in line and they give you what you order. I would recommend this place.
