Was pretty dead for dinner service, yet still quite noisy. Service was okay. Salmon was moist, tasty with the BBQ sauce that was... drizzled over it. Ribeye was okay, not great. Best feature were the French fries, which we ordered a second serving of. Overallwasn't too impressed. If the meal had been cheaper, or a nicer dining atmosphere, then I'd be more inclined to recommend. As is,there are better restaurants in town for the cost. Read more
Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my husband's graduation from ECU. The spinach and artichoke dip was spectacular and we split... a ribeye and shrimp. Drinks were perfect! Read more
We enjoyed our meal. Nice atmosphere, good service, great food. Our table tried almost everything. Steak, brisket, shrimp &... grits, salmon, chophouse chicken, pasta, and brussel sprouts, blueberry-lemon pound cake. No complaints. Very nice experience. Read more
Hubby and I have been on the hunt for a great quality steakhouse since we moved to enc years ago. Seared was recommended by a... friend. The spinach dip appetizer was the best spinach dip I’ve ever had. The grilled asparagus was great, too. Well seasonedand cooked to just the right crispness. My son ordered the country fried chicken which met his approval. The chicken lookedjuicy and the saw mill gravy looked great. My husband and I ordered medium rare ribeyes (I got the 12 oz and he got the 16 oz).I would say his was cooked perfectly and mine was more medium to medium well. It still had a good flavor, but was a little toodone for my taste. They were busy with a couple of larger parties and by the time our server checked back in with us, the restof my family was nearing being finished with their food. Long story short, I didn’t send the steak back. Normally at $32-34per plate, I would have sent it back, but on a Monday night when they were busy, we just didn’t have that kind of time. Themashed potatoes were clearly made from scratch and had great texture, but lacked any flavor at all. Our server was courteousand the atmosphere was nice. I personally think the meals are slightly over priced, but in a time of pandemic and a newbusiness, I can understand the higher price point and it’s nice to have the option for special occasions. Despite my steakbeing over cooked, this was still the best steak I’ve had in Greenville. We do plan on trying them out again and would say toothers that they are certainly worth a shot if you’re on the hunt for a better steak than is offered at the National chainrestaurants around Greenville. We made a reservation for Saturday night dinner, excited to try something nice for a birthday dinner. The staff was pleasant,... but not very attentive which could be due to staffing who knows but the restaurant was maybe half full on a weekenddinner. After seating us, the menus were covered in crumbs and food which is instantly not the greatest welcome. They made usaware that none of our selected entrees were in stock so we had to jump up $10-15 per entree in order try the steak. Again,stocking has been tough so as long as the food was good, we understood. The appetizer dip was okay, mainly cream cheese and notmuch substance but enjoyable. The salads were decent as well. The steaks were excellent, a little fatty but delicious! Whichthey should be for $40. Pork chops were over cooked and a little tough (nice barbecue flavor though) so for the price perplate, you’d hope for it to be very good. The Mac and cheese was obviously cold on the plate when it hit the table and tastedlike nothing. No flavor, I didn’t even eat more than a bite and I’m a Mac and cheese fan! Very disappointing for aconsidering that was the only other thing on the plate. The cheesecake was also very good, maybe homemade (?) and delicious!The best thing we ate by far. Unfortunately, we had to share one piece for a birthday celebration as that too was out ofstock. We won’t be back especially at this price point, maybe for $20 a plate it would be more reasonable, but justdisappointing overall for such a highly recommended restaurant. Read more
