We came in after 9:00pm on a Saturday after having no luck getting service at other uptown restaurants. Within seconds of... sitting at the bar, we were warmly greeted, given waters, and had our drink orders put in. The staff was beyond welcoming andthe bar area was clean-incredibly clean by 5th street standards. The food was fine, nothing really to write home about, but thisis very clearly a college bar and that is to be expected. We were blown away by how great the entire front of house team was.The people working there care and we felt valued. Actually a very good Cajun place. Didn't expect this in Greenville. Kind of a bar atmosphere, but with stellar food. The... Cajun pasta was really good (the chicken and the shrimp) and the cheese steak po' boy was very good. Besides the Hour wait for our food to come out, the Dry Rub BBQ Chicken Breast was extremely over cooked to the point the... outside had a slight char and the inside was tough and dry. The rice, asparagus, and white sauce that accompanied it weredelicious. The slow time it took to come out can only to attributed to the kitchen and not the servers. Read more
