This is a nice restaurant with plenty of buzz. Initial entry provides a hybrid bar scene in which you have options to sit at the... bar, bar top tables, or mini tables for apps and/or drinks. I just would just like to see a transition from the bar scene tomore of an upscale dinning area to separate the two. The dinning area, specifically the tables and chairs, does not providespecial ambience (but suffice). The overall experience was good though I didn't feel my $150 tab was well spent. Duck fries,were not what I've seen in other pics, they were just a few regular basic fries. Food presentation is nice so seeing the dishesinitially excites the appetite. The fish dishes (Chilean Sea Bass and Halibut) were upstaged by the accompanying sides, meaningthat's where the flavors were. The scallops were a hit! And so was the sticky toffee pudding. I cannot believe it took us this long to find such an amazing restaurant in Greenville. The food was creative, delicious, and... top notch. Atmosphere is great for date night in the restaurant. We were impressed with the entire experience. Highly recommendto anyone looking for a great restaurant in GVL. Chef specials are also a must to try. Read more
Great date night restaurant. The decor was beautiful and the overall ambiance was nice. The service was friendly and attentive.... Our food was really good and came out fast. It was a little more expensive than most date nights, but perfect for a specialoccasion. Read more
First time for dinner last evening. Great space - large open bar area and well designed quiet intimate dining area. Our waitress... was very professional and efficient. Dinner started nicely with delicious mussels and crusty bread. Wedge salad split for uswhich we appreciated. My wife enjoyed her Chilean sea bass but at $44? I had the scallops over mushroom risotto. This is not theplace to get delicately flavored risotto. So much cheese; was like kids menu Mac n cheese at OCharleys. I could see mushrooms.Then the first of my four quarter sized scallops was buttery then the second was YUCK and why I ate half of the also YUCKY thirdI do not know. Someone in the kitchen should have known to stop scallop service. Anyway the dinner $36 cost was removed. Read more
