What a gem of a restaurant. I have driven past here numerous times on my way to Greenville and it has been on my list of places... to try. Fortunately a friend suggested we meet there for dinner and I jumped at the chance. It was busy, but not crowded, on aWednesday evening. They were more than accommodating with some of our dietary restrictions, although we did have to send oneitem back to have the breadcrumbs left off even though my friend had already identified as gluten free. But other than that,the dinner was so lovely, and the atmosphere was amazing! I can't wait to go back and enjoy the outdoor bar area on a weekend. The greens on my salad were obviously fresh from the farm, and they made a point of explaining how much they focus on hyperlocal (if not grown on their farm, then sourced within 20-30 miles, with the exception of seafood). The presentation was lovelyand the portions were well sized, but not overwhelming. Can't wait to return to share this hidden gem. Read more
Oak Hill Cafe was mentioned as the best restaurant in Greeneville, SC. So naturally we had to try it. It did not... disappoint. The setting is quaint - a converted house with 3 indoor dining areas and an outdoor patio. Outside is a farm wherethey grow a lot of the produce they use. Servers were very helpful and friendly (and accommodating to special requests). Thechoice of mixed drinks and wines was very good. Food was excellent. Both the duck mole and the pork with guava sauce werecooked to perfection. Sauces and accompaniments were right on. The mushroom pate appetizer was delicious and decadent. Dessertswere very good. The tres leches cake, however, was really a take on one, as it had barely any of the "leche". We prefer a moresoaked, traditional cake. Also, portions were just a bit too small. Parking is fairly ample and reservations seem to be hadfairly easily - for now. We doubt that will last! Read more
Delicious! We grabbed a to-go order for breakfast. We enjoyed the farm breakfast and the pancakes. Everything was delicious, but... particularly the pancakes and the vegan sausage. I fully expected the vegan sausage to be some sort of store-bought, but theywere clearly house-made and amazing! I want to go back just for those. My fiancé is still raving about the pancakes. Best meal in Greenville! We love this hidden gem. Last night was our second visit and we will be back. The Restaurant Week 6... Course meal + wine pairing was both memorable and delicious. The chef adjusted nearly every course to accommodate my dairyallergy, with unique and beautifully balanced bites. The cozy and quiet atmosphere inside made for an awesome anniversarydinner! Read more

A friend from Resy took me here (shout out Mario! Give him a raise!) and it was one of the best places I've had in Greenville!... The chef is Costa Rican and studied in Spain and has come up with some very creative and delicious plates. Our favs were theceviche, sweet potato gnocchi, and batatas bravas, which my friend said was nothing like the ones he had in Spain - they wereway better! The chef also came out to say hi and the server was incredibly sweet. The ambience is super cute. The restaurant isin a beautiful white house where each room has a few tables, making it feel like a dinner party at your rich white friend'splace. Great for dates, unless you're just going with your friend because he has free restaurant credit and the server thinksyou're dating. Read more
