I?ve lived in the Greenville area for 9 years and last night was the most impressive service experience I?ve had from a... restaurant in all that time. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were fantastic but the level of attention the staff puts ontheir patrons was simply old school. What I mean by that is they go out of their way to serve you. So many places today justheard you through like you should be grateful they let you in the front door. Swordfish is amazing. It?s not 5/5, it?s 12/10. The entire staff is amazing, and really take the time to know what you want. I... really don?t understand the negative reviews. My wife and I have been coming here regularly for 6+ months, and I just realized Ihaven?t written a review. Probably because I don?t write them often. As noted, it?s a Probibition era speakeasy joint. If yourwant vodka or tequila drinks, go elsewhere. That?s not what they do here. If you?re willing to take a chance, you can explain toany of the bartenders what you?re looking for, and they?ll make you an amazing drink you?ve never heard of. You could also justlook at the carefully crafted menu and order from that, and you also won?t be disappointed. The menu IS ?tapas? or appetizerstyle. If you came here to eat dinner? you?ll be disappointed. It?s a cocktail club, not a restaurant . Manage yourexpectations. We?ve taken a lot of friends here, and will continue to do so. The staff, the atmosphere, the drinks?. Best inGreenville, and we?ve been to most. At risk of hyping up our favorite spot so it?s even harder to get into, drink here withconfidence.
