One of the few genuine Still Around, retro lunch spots with a 50's & 60's kitchy atmosphere. Feels a bit aged but full of... memories and a favorite of locals. The food is really very good and prices are quite reasonable. Read more
This place has been here FOREVER. So definitely take that into consideration before you judge this place. The kind of old where... the bathroom is outside the building and you still see where the payphone was set up. My dad remembers the McAlister mallhaydays with Ivy department store and this was the family meal stop down the road in the 70s/80s. So forget it if you care aboutlooks or things like that. In fact, why are you on Pleasantburg Rd at all? However, it is a old fashioned hot dogs, fresh juice,fast food joint where you come for a greasy meal on the cheap. And for that it is amazing. If you're the type that likes wafflehouse/American diner/ hot dog stand meals - come here for a treat. Read more
75 years in business. The Hot Dogs were great along with the onion rings. The Orange Drink that it's famous for tastes like... Sunny D to me. They have the small shaved ice I like. Men's room is outside and I advise you to avoid it. Read more
Orange pineapple drink is the best and their chili is at the top of my list so I'd say it's worth atleast stopping in and... trying! Read more
