We've been to the melting pot a half a dozen times, in three or four cities. This experience was much, much different than the... rest. It was fine, but, not "the melting pot." We only got dessert and coffee, but there is an expectation that when you'regoing to spend $40 on dessert for two people, it is to be exceptional. Walking in the front door, we knew that this locationwas much different than the others. It was much brighter and less professional, less romantic than the other locations. From thebright orange sweater at the hostess stand, to the mall food courtesque feel of half of the restaurant, we were verysurprised. It's rare to think of Gatlinburg Tennessee, and Myrtle Beach South Carolina as being the swanky, sophisticatedlocations, but they are night and day different from this location. The chocolate was fine (plain dark chocolate). The coffeewas lukewarm. The atmosphere was okay once we got to our table. The service was fine, though, bringing the check out at the sametime as our order made the experience feel rushed and more like a waffle house on a busy Saturday than a high dollardessert. It's fine, but for $40 it was disappointing. I wouldn't suggest this location, though, the brand is still top notch. Read more

This place is about the experience, not the food. First, if you are deciding to go eat out because you are not feeling cooking... at home, this is not the place. You will end cooking almost everything you are going to eat. Ordered: 4-Course dinner, BigNight Out. That included Cheese Fondue, we picked Wisconsin; 2 salads, we picked Caesar and House; the Big Night Out, to becooked with Coq Au Vin; and Rocky Road Chocolate fondue. Everything was good, not great. As fondue suggests, you have to cookeverything, and if you don’t follow instructions, you could fail and potentially harm yourself. I don’t think I’m comingback. This is a one-time experience, and sure there are better options than this. Read more

Our family of 5 dined here for a special family dinner. Our server was Zoe and she was outstanding (ask for Zoe when you make... your reservation). We ordered from the gluten-free offerings and everything was so delicious! Here's what we enjoyed, and wouldhighly recommend: Cheese Fondue: Wisconsin Cheddar and Spinach Artichoke (included gluten-free bread) Salads: Melting Pot House(gluten-free didn't have croutons) Entree: The Classic and Steak Lovers with Court Bouillon and Mojo (subbed a few meats forgluten-free ones, no problem) Chocolate: Flaming Turtle and Yin & Yang (included gluten-free brownies and cookies) ** MeltingPot is expensive but the experience and food are so worth it. My friend and I dined here last summer. We had such a great time! The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.... Parking was somewhat confusing since it’s a busy area, but we used the adjacent parking lot without any trouble. Read more

What an experience! This was my first time at The Melting Pot and I can't say enough. Our waitress was everything and more. We... went down to Greenville for my Birthday, made reservations (a definite must if going here) and I couldn't ask for a betterexperience. The food was perfect portion size. I wish I could remember her name, but she made the experience for us! For theprice it is definitely a special occasion restaurant, but worth every penny spent Read more
