We enjoyed their deep dish pizza. They have other types but why would you? Most authentic. Crust was thick and flaky. If you... like Gino's East, Giordano's or Lou Malnoti's, this is the place for you. Knockout Italian Beef sandwiches, too. Get themdipped! Read more
We ordered the breadsticks and believe that it is the best appetizer we have tried here. Soft, buttery and good balance of... Italian seasoning. Perfect for dipping in nacho cheese sauce. Also, we tried the Pepperoni Pizza on Thin crust and loved it. Nottoo thin but, and the pizza tastes good, but nothing beats the deep dish style. We enjoyed the Sampler Appetizer especially theonion rings, fried beef ravioli, fried chicken tenders and fried mushrooms. All of them were perfectly fried, and accompanied bya cup of tomato sauce. Also, we ordered the Italian Beef which we asked to be wet. A little surprised that the bread was theonly thing wet, and the meat was dry. Although there was the au jus on the side it did not help moisten the meat. Disappointedbecause the beef was lacking flavor and with no juice it was bone dry. The Garlic Cheese Bread appetizer has lots of cheese andgarlic, and great way to start the meal. The Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza is the best deep dish pizza we have ever had. Thesauce is extremely flavorful, and the perfect amount of pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and bacon. If you are a Chicago sportsteam fan or a fan of Deep Dish Chicago Style Pizza then look no further. Everywhere you turn there is a banner, sign or pictureof Chicago sports team. The best one is a panoramic view of downtown Chicago. We ordered the Loaded Fries appetizer, anddevoured it. The crispy fries which had a soft pillowy center was coated in a cheese sauce and homemade bacon bits. It was sodelicious that we couldn't stop eating it. We ordered the Meat Lovers Deep Dish Pizza and it was delicious. There was bacon,Italian Sausage, pepperoni and ham covered in a very flavorful tomato sauce, and the cheese had the right amount of pull. Ourson ate the Pepperoni Deep Dish Pizza and loved it. He said it had lots of cheese and pepperoni, and enjoyed the flavorfultomato sauce as well. A friendly staff as well. Read more

Not Ever Here Again!!!! Support Your Other Local Restaurants…. We thought we’d try somewhere new other than the same old... National Brands. We spent $76.00 with South of Chicago Pizza & Beef. I have never sent a Review for anything, but this Place isBad… The Salad was Brown and Conveniently hid under the Cheese. We Received a Refund from Door Dash on it…Then we had theFried Raviolis… They were worse... They had a Mush of something in them and the Ravioli Pastry was like Cardboard. The Pizza,was absolutely nothing special. We won’t be ordering from there again… It was too late for the Raviolis to ask for aRefund… Hope this Helps. Don’t waste your Money like I did…!!! Read more
