View was incredible, ambiance great decor, views and band, menu prices excellent! Buuuut. The food was cold when it got to our... table. Bus boys were completely clueless and careless, to be honest... Asked for share plates for our appetizer and he actedlike he didn't know what that meant. They arrived about 5 minutes later. Our waitress was sweet but overwhelmed. Not to blameher but she forgot one of our appetizers and then also one of our entrees.. hm? and she was quite slow. Maybe she was the onlyone who was working? Ugh I feel bad for her because I know what it's like! We wouldn't have minded the slow service if our foodwas hot and delicious but unfortunately it wasn't. We loved the view and had a great time together despite the short comings. .Overall, we were pretty disappointed, as we were there to celebrate a special occasion. Bartender was sweet and attentive buttold us he didn't even work there (not sure what that means... maybe he quit a while ago and was asked to come back since theywere so short staffed.. got that vibe but not 100%) 3/5 would return but won't be our first pick. I've been to the Cove both for a private event (wedding) and to eat at the restaurant. Food and drinks here are tasty! Staff is... friendly and accommodating. Live music on the weekends is fun. If you have a boat, you can dock and walk right up to therestaurant to grab a bite. Outdoor seating is dog-friendly (they'll even bring water bowls for your furry friends). The weddingI attended took place both inside (upstairs) and outdoors. The space was decorated beautifully and the food was very good. Read more

Bobby gave us a lovely relaxing boat tour of the lake. They were so kind and helpful with getting our family elder on and off... the boat--it is hard to find great things you can do with folks with mobility issues but this gentle ride in very comfy seatswas just the thing! After we had a great lunch on the deck overlooking the water--salad ingredients were fresh and delicious aswas the flatbread pizza. We couldn't have been treated better. Read more

5 starts for view and ambiance, but food and service were such a disappointment. Started off waiting at the hostess station for... almost 10 minutes. We could see it was busy on this beautiful Sunday, so we eventually found her. Took 15 minutes for waitressto arrive and we ordered drinks and dinner all at once. After 15 MORE minutes and still no drinks, my husband went to the bar toget us some. Two items we ordered they ran out of, delaying us further. Our appetizer never came out and after some time ourwaitress noticed (she was great!). The manager eventually showed up at our table to apologize for the mistake. She offered us acocktail ?on the house? and a reduced check. That?s good service (as we don?t complain?we try and always think a place could beunder-staffed, overwhelmed, etc.) Burgers came out well done after ordering medium-rare!! Just too many problems to even want totry and go back. We are foodies who love to go out to eat, but a 3 hour dinner that wasn?t good just won?t bring us back. Read more
