Black Friday was cool @ The Oakwood Mall in Gretna. La. I was so happy to see so many people. especially, ???? the "Beignets" @... Cafe Du Monde, it was very tasty. The Cafe seating area was nice. Of course not the same as sitting outside in the Cafe'sCourtyard in the New Orleans French Quarters. ???? Anyway, it was still very nice. The staff workers were professional andkind. Also, patient with the customers. They maintained a clean and comfortable seating space for customers. It was a "goodthing" to see a busy and crowded environment while just browsing or shopping at Oakwood Mall. We will have another visit soon,when in the area... Ck out for yourself. ???? Read more
Exactly the same thing as the one on Decatur. But NO LINE. This matters the most. I highly recommend to try it here, and maybe... take a photo in front of the original shop (you?re probably going to go there anyway), if it?s your first time! Read more
Yes! There is a reason why cafe du monde is known in NOLA. The beignets were incredible and so affordable. I definitely... recommend coming here if you want to avoid the busy streets of the French Quarter. Easy in and easy out! The worker was verykind and made sure she wiped off my pop before handing it to me. Do yourself a favor and get yourself some beignets. No, itdoesnt have to be morning time, either! Read more
So I finally had a beignet for the first time. I?ve heard lots about the cafe in the French Quarter, but decided to try the mall... location. Since I don?t have anything else to judge on, I?m giving it a 4 four. The location can be pretty busy on the weekends,but the staff moves fast. I even picked up a coffee cup! Read more
