If I could give this place no stars, I would. If your feeding children then by all means, order a dinner. If your feeding an... adult better order 3 for one person. My parents spent 60$ for 3 buritto grande dinners and large guacamole. The burritos wereall 4inches long! The guacamole tasted like STRAIGHT lime!!! Literally had better food from taco bell! OMG! Whoever called it Mexican lied!! Their idea of al pastor was pork meat with McCormick taco seasoning on it. The worst... wannabe Mexican I've ever had. This is definitely not a place I'll go back to EVER! Read more
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I tried a new place and regret going here. I call in a pick up order for a hour and 15 minutes ahead... and when I got there at 7pm it wasn't ready, the cashier didn't tell me until after I paid. I was told to give them 20 moreminutes so I went home and call 25 minutes later she said it still wasn't ready and they would need another 20 minutes, I toldher I was on my way back up there and if it wasn't ready I would just get a refund. I made it up there at 8pm which they cost at8 and the cashier call me to let me know my order still wasn't ready but they needed 15 more minutes I just agreed to it sinceit was already late. When I went in to get my order she did they cancel my order the 1st time do they would have to run my cardagain ????. I will never go to this restaurant again! Read more
I really wanted to like this place. Lake County has diverse ethnicities, and you can often find great restaurants in nondescript... locations such as this. But it ended up being rather "meh." The salsa was pretty good, though the tomato sauce almost seemedmore Italian in consistency. The chips were a bit too thick, and few of them were consumed. I ordered enchiladas, and what Igot was barely-seasoned chicken in tortillas covered with a red sauce (that looked like the salsa base) then smothered withflavorless cheese. They have their own hot sauces, red and green. The red version lacked heat, but had okay flavor. The priceswere quite reasonable, so for the money, quantity was excellent. I?ve never been able to find an authentic Mexican restaurant until I visited Mi Tierra. The portions are plentiful, affordable... and full of flavor. Don Chuy is a humble, kind, & generous person! Despite the nasty review left by Ingried Nathansen, theirreview says more about them and their character. Comparing authentic Mexican food to Taco Bell says enough. There is nocomparison. None. I?m embarrassed for Ingried and their lack of appropriate communication skills. How painful to know thatthere are people who speak to other human beings in such an irate & derogatory tone. Maybe your dining experience would?ve beenaddressed at that moment had you expressed your concerns in person rather than resorting to being a keyboard warrior. Someoneshould revoke your telephone for at least a week so that you can have the opportunity to focus on your etiquette and manners. Ihave never had a bad experience at Mi Tierra. However, if I did?? I would address it in person because humans makemistakes. Just like Ingried did by ordering the wrong burrito. ??????????? Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to adelicious meal served by some of the greatest people who truly care about you and your dining experience.
