If you value being treated professionally with courtesy and not being frowned upon because you don't 'fit a certain... criteria/resemblance to the majority of the people who happen to reside in this old money city' then PLEASE avoid thisparticular location as you're likely to be subjected to quite the opposite treatment!!!! To make matters worse, when wepolitely asked to speak to the manager, a boisterous, finger pointing employee named 'Alex' quickly appeared (clearlyagitated/non friendly from the get-go) who we found to be extremely rude, arrogant, and essentially unhelpful. In hindsight, you really can't expect too much from hourly wage employees (let alone uptight, bun wearing, woke men employees who reek ofhash)...SMH. Read more

We stopped into Einstein Bros for a quick bite while in Grosse Pointe to visit Trader Joe's. It is a fairly typical chain-style... cafe. They offer a wide selection of bagels and breakfast/lunch bagel sandwiches. I opted for an egg and avocado sandwich on aneverything bagel. The bagel was very fresh and soft, and the egg was cooked well. All in all, an average bagel sandwich thatdid the trick. They offer self-serve style coffee in the main Cafe area. They had about four or five choices, includingregular/dark roast, flavoured and decaf. I believe the tags may have gotten mixed up, as my regular coffee had a very stronghazelnut flavour. It was very reminiscent of gas station-style coffee, drinkable but not at all gourmet. If you are looking fora specialty coffee, I recommend checking out one of the other nearby cafes. The cafe itself was open-concept, clean and brightwith lots of space. It was comfortable to eat in, and I did not feel that we were being rushed. The staff brought our order tothe table, which was also nice. Overall, it is nothing fancy but is a good choice for a quick and low-cost bite. Read more

Racist Experience! Me and a few members of my family walked into the location. At the time we were the only people in the store... and the employees just looked at us and didn't speak or acknowledge our presence (they were not busy they were just standingaround). After we ordered our food we stepped back from the counter because their wasn't any designated place to wait for thefood. One of the employees rudely says "well can i help you guys with anything else because you're just standing here and I needto help the other customer" (which was a white male). They handed us the food and I realized I didn't receive the orange juice Iordered. It was never stated to me that I had to grab it from the cooler and once I asked I was told I had to grab it, usuallythat's told when you place your order. The experience was terrible and I will never go back to that location. I felt belittledand I cannot believe me and my family were treated that way. Read more
