First time customer and I will not be returning. I felt it a bit pricey for the quality of the ice cream and more importantly... the customer service was TERRIBLE! I mentioned being a first time customer and asked a few questions and I was treated like Iwas bothering her! Answers short nasty and I believe she even sighed once. Barely put my change in my hand and turned so fast myhead was spinning. Not a thank you, come again or have a nice day! I mean she did not say a word! Too pricey (but it's Grosse Pointe, so you knew that already) but decent ice cream.
This place has become such a disappointment, it use to be soooooo much better back some years ago.. now whoever is in charge,... has allowed it to decline drastically ...first of all, this establishment lacks consistency!! Customer service is a ZERO, Iwas in there this evening, hardly anyone there (after tonight's experience I can see why) when we walked in we were given ZEROgreeting, a Hello and/ or a smile goes a long way.... The music was paying loudly and inappropriate type for an ice creamparlor, the staffs seemed to be very inconvenienced by us being there; we also had some concerns about sanitary measures, soggyBand-Aids on fingers while scooping ice cream is kind of disgusting.. just saying, prob should have on a glove?. The young ladyscooped out a very scant portion, half the amount, compared to other items in the orders scooped by others ... it makes me feelsilly to be bothered by this however when asked to make adjustments, attitude and rolled eyes was given, not fulfilling therequest So this review encompasses the ENTIRE Experience, if a few things were done differently, I couldn't looked passed otherthings, however the collective in such a short period of time has left an impact.. It's cool,.... We paid and tipped, we willmost likely go elsewhere .. shoot for the $20 spent, we could've just gone to the grocery store, would have gotten more for less... but here we thought it would be nice to support local businesses... it's too bad the same consideration wasn't given inreturn it's rather unfortunate that people don't care about their customers experience and expect to get paid for just showingup, that's not how it works Read more
I want to like this place, but in the two times I've been here the customer service was really lacking. The teenagers working... weren't friendly at all and it felt like they'd rather be somewhere else. The ice cream wasn't really something to rave overeither, seeming a bit too sweet and even a little freezer burned. It's disappointing because we live so close.
