This restaurant was fantastic. It's hard to get into, it always seems busy no matter what time you go, but it is well worth the... experience. I had the giant apple fritter and it was delicious. Their bacon is thick slice and flavored, and even the coffee andcream was a delight. You have got to give this place a try. I'm glad I did! I have friends in Detroit who rave about thisplace! While I did not eat as I was servicing the restaurant I've just got to give praise to the management. I have serviced literally... hundreds of restaurants over the years and it is very rare that a kitchen serving the community is as clean as here. Let alonehow well maintained the appliances and general working areas are. Places like this are definitely the reason why I will stilleat out in public anymore. Been coming here since I was a kid and never disappointed. Fresh OJ, thick bacon, big apple, dutch baby, fluffy cheddar... omelettes.. some of the best breakfast around. So good I've brought friends from Downriver here and they've drove all the wayacross the city just to come back again. Read more
Highly rated for good reason. Our brunch was awesome. Who knew a bacon lovers breakfast would come with 7 strips of bacon, 4... eggs, and 4 pancakes. The bacon was perfect. Oh, and the German treat with strawberries and bananas was quite the treat aswell. We shared both meals and will be restarting our diets in a couple of days. This was my first time coming to Original Pancake International. I had a baked ham and bacon omelette. I really wasn't feeling... it. My friends enjoyed their baked veggie omelette. The service was excellent and I would definitely try it again. Except Iwouldn't try the omelette. :) Read more
