Being a southerner I’m biased to the belief nobody does BBQ like us…every thing I’ve had from this place has been... outstanding. Really good food. A bit on the expensive side, but the serving sizes are very large. So, I guess if you divide your meal cost by... how many servings you get if you take what's left over home for the next day, not terrible pricing. As is typical with mostbarbecue places, not enough heat in any of their sauces to satisfy my pallet, but they are flavorful. Getting the two meat plateseems to be the best value on the menu. Again, remembering you will probably have leftovers for another meal. Nice bark on boththe pulled pork and the beef brisket. Pulled chicken is nicely done, lots of good smoke flavor, but not overly dry. My favoriteside dish is the collard greens. The mac and cheese should be a pass, but I more often than not find myself ordering it, becausemac and cheese in general goes so well with barbecue. As can be typical for mac and cheeses, the pasta is way too overcooked tobegin with, so putting it in the cheese sauce just makes it all fall apart. Friends and I are staying at an Airbnb in the area. We have a City BBQ near us back at home and we were all craving BBQ.... Although a chain, City is very consistently good to great. This City was excellent all the way around. The employees seem happyto be there. The food portions are generous and the food itself is great. I would give it more if I could. We got our food so fast after we ordered. Our 1 shock was the turkey was so dang good it was... unbelievable. It's kinda a mix of a cafeteria and pavilion lunch spot. They don't need a waitress because you do everythingyourself here. Read more

Something about this location is off. The greens always taste tough and dry. To me they taste canned and undercooked. I bought a... family meal. Very little BBQ sauce. My buns were stale and the cornbread smells weird. I don't have this problem when I go tothe Arlington location. I've gotten the exact same meal at the Arlington location, the greens were delicious, fresh bread,cornbread doesn't smell like feet, plenty of sauce. Read more
