I was staying at one of the nearby hotels and hoping to find something satisfying for dinner. I was surprised to find a Dim Sum... house and didn't have very high expectations but I was blown away by the meal. I had Sui Mai, potstickers, salt&peppershrimp/squid combo and the chow fun beef, chicken, shrimp combo. Very well prepared and authentic food. Just as good as onStockton St. in SF, or Mott St in NYC, or Beach St in Boston. The lady who took my phone order was very helpful and wanted to besure I got exactly what I wanted. The staff were friendly and at the front counter when I walked in. I ordered takeout. The restaurant looked clean and organized... witha decent amount of seating inside. I ordered right at the counter and got my food in 10-15 minutes. I asked a few questionsabout the menu and they answered all my questions. They have multiple vegetarian options there and likely vegan ones. Photos areof the dim sum sampler and the vegetable crystal dumplings and crab rangoons. The only issue I would have is that the food is abit pricey, but that goes for every restaurant these days. I would still go for the dumplings alone since they're unique, tasty,and the best priced item. Read more
The only dim sum place I've managed to find in Agusta or Savannah. You order from a menu and the items were brought to our... table. They do both takeout or dine in now as covid recedes. The strip mall where the restaurant is located is fairly recent(two years, I think) so Google Maps shows it as undeveloped. They also have a selection of typical Chinese restaurant menuitems in addition to the dim sum menu. We tried about five different dim sum items, all steamed along with oolong tea. The teawas fresh and made with loose tea not tea bags. Pieces included shrimp, pork, and vegetable dim sum. We also had sesame ballsthat were warm and chewy. The staff were friendly and helpful. This is the best Chinese and Asian food we've tried in the Augusta area thus far. Coming from the Seattle area, we're happy to... have finally found a place that serves decent Asian cuisine. The dim sum sampler gave a great assortment of yummy treats to try,and the fried pork glutinous dumplings were very tasty as well. We saw taro custard pastries on the menu and definitely plan ontrying that next time. Highly recommend this place! Read more
