Wonderfully prepared gourmet meals to take and heat for your busy convience and
If you buy food there often like I do, you will soon discover the majority of items come only with rice and string beans. Its... nice whenever I find something that doesnt come with rice and string beans!! The worst item to avoid in my opinion is anythingthat includes Broccolli Rabe, ....they include the bottom of the stalks. Who can eat stalks? I cant. I called them tospeak with the owner about this on two occasions, and I never got a call back. The eggplant parm and lasagne are very good. Breaded chicken cutlets and their homemade cookies are great. They need to put a "Best Use By" date or "Expiration" date oneach package. Staff is friendly and helpful. I LOVE THIS PLACE! I?m not a great cook- not do I really want to be a great cook. I hate shopping, preparing and actually making... a mess cooking something that might not really be all that great. I like to think of myself as a creative person- but again-when it comes to what I want for lunch or dinner I am completely stumped. Plus we are a small household of busy working onprojects people- So La Cuchina has become my HERO of sorts. Great choices, nicely prepared and EASY!! They have both healthychoices ( summer ratatouille! grilled chicken in citrus quinoa) and Mac and Cheese. The meat balls were good, ( I like themdenser ( but that might mean overcooked since my mom , although a great person wasn?t a great cook and I?m sort of used toeverything over cooked or burnt- which I actually love) the eggplant parm was excellent and this week I?m going for the lasagne.It?s been now about 3 weeks and I?ve been buying 6-12 meals there per week and still loving the no waste, no think, no prep andassortment of meals that save time and are EASY for me. I think the prices are fair. I?m really tempted to use it for a dinnerparty since I?m good with the table but not with the cooking. This place is a godsend to me and the next step from having apersonal chef. I LOVE YOU AND PLEASE NEVER LEAVE ME! The staff there is usually very helpful, Laura even bright things to my carbecause I hurt my knee and was having a hard time walking. 5 stars for the super neat clean store, helpful staff and choices I?mready made foods.
