Excellent place to eat. Good music vibes, view of the water, playground for kids. The hush puppy appetizer has about 10 bite... sized morsels, California roll sushi and crunchy shrimp sushi was an excellent way to begin our feast. The table of five I atewith all loved the crunchy shrimp. Steak served medium well was served with garlic butter and a cheesy stuffed tomato. Excellent choice for $35 and add $7 for six fried shrimps. The Alfred pasta dish was a solid choice for anyone loving chickenand pasta. Coconut shrimp platter was so good it was hard to finish the amount on the plate. The atmosphere, the view, theserving and hostess staff a 10/10! The handicap accessibility was great!! Read more
Fun location but pricey for what you get. We enjoyed our visit here but would have rather spent less at their sister restaurant... across the street- Flounders. Staff is friendly but new so that means longer waiting times for ordering, check, etc. Woulddefinitely recommend the shrimp, crab, spinach dip. It's a creamy chunky dip for the soul. Went twice. The indoor bar made the Crab Trap signature drink way better. Was actually tasty and I don't like alcohol really.... The next day the bartender outside had a heavy hand and the drink was terrible. Also ate here. Seemed like most people enjoyedthe food. The service size was huge I could barely finish my food. I was on vacation with my family and we wanted to try some fresh seafood. This place popped up as a popular spot so we gave it a... try. I?m glad we did! The food was scrumptious! Reasonable prices are on the menu besides the kings crab legs. Prices vary onmarket price and we paid $90 for the king legs. Snow crab and everything else was under $30. You can buy their signature drinkand keep the bottle. Which is awesome because we got a Souvenir. The scene was beautiful on the beach and the food Delicious. This restaurant could possibly be rated at 4.5 stars. The atmosphere is very nice, with balcony seating that's open on the sides... so you can see the beach paired with excellent and friendly service. Instead of the typical complimentary bread on the table, wewere treated to their honey buns. It came with heated honey, but they are amazing even without the honey. Warm, soft interiorwith a dusting of cinnamon sugar. Even without a proper dessert, you'll still leave with something sweet! Honestly THIS alonewas such a deciding factor for this restaurant. It was followed up with fat and tasty mozzarella sticks. (I'm not kidding aboutthe thickness.) Then I got popcorn shrimp with hush puppies, cole slaw and fries. The popcorn shrimp had a lovely spice in thebreading, the fries had a excellent baked in flavor, and even the tartar and cocktail sauces were good. (And I'm not a personparticularly interested in sauces.) The person with me got fish fillets and found them to be perfectly done. I would absolutelyrecommend this place for seafood. Read more
