This spot is a local classic that has been downtown for many years - Bangkok is THE BEST Thai restaurant in the Burg. St. Pete... continues to grow and more restaurants keep popping up - nothing has the charm and the most delicious curries like Bangkok. Notonly is the food all fresh and delicious, you will be pleasantly greeted at the door with smiling faces. My boyfriend and I lovethe red duck curry special, pictured here. It features crispy duck, fresh, savory veggies and a touch of sweetness from thepineapple and grapes. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! The Thai tea was good. The shrimp pad Thai was sweet which was unexpected. I had ordered without peanuts but the server brought... with peanuts then got it changed quickly. My portion size was fine but my friend had ordered a different noodle dish and theportion size was like a kid's meal. I'll probably not go there again. Read more
We went over because we where starving. Surprisingly the restaurant was very good. The sushi is not cheep but that?s fine for... the quality you get. We had red curry and a noodle dish. This place is a gem. While it may not look fancy on the outside, take a look inside. It is a small beautiful location! The sushi... is great and happens to be one of the first locations where sushi taste: so fresh it doesn?t have even a hint of a fishysmell. We we?re surprised to see the sushi presented on a ship.
