We had dinner here on a Saturday night. They lost our reservation but fortunately they were able to seat us with no problem. I... had the house salad. It is my favorite salad on the coast. We both had a ribeye and they were cooked to perfection. Fordessert I had gooey butter cake and it is so much sugar it melts in your mouth. Fresh berries on top were a deliciouscomponent. Read more
For Mother?s Day we wanted to try something new. We left with much disappointment. For starters they had sold out of the tuna... appetizer, so we settled for the artichoke dip. It was very bland! Applebee?s has a much better dip for half the price. I triedthe tuna steak, cooked medium rare, with the strawberry salad and sweet potato. Every dish lacked seasoning, flavor and perhapslove. There was nothing that gave a wow. The filet mignon was very tender, juicy and flavorful! We wanted to add the maple sauceas an add on but when it arrived it tasted of pure brown gravy. We passed. Not worth $62, Service was fine, place was clean,reservation process was simple, lemon drop martini was stiff! And garlic knots were delightful. Michelle was our server and she did a fantastic job. She helped us choose a wine that satisfied three different tastes and it... was an inexpensive but very good wine. She and Billy were very attentive, helpful, professional and most importantly, theyseemed genuinely kind. Food was excellent (steaks and shrimp) and the portions were surprisingly generous. I took my wife here for her birthday and man was I impressed! The filet topped with bearnaise sauce was absolutely delicious,... and cooked perfectly. Ooey gooey cake for dessert was almost better.
