The view of the Gulf was perfect. The food was mouthwatering! The service was impeccable!
Every time I come to the Blue Marlin ???? the food and service are outstanding! Today Kenny took great care of us and me never... had to ask for anything because he was always checking in on us. When there was a problem with our order he took care of it andhad our food out with a quickness. The drinks from the bartender???? was outstanding and she remembered our drink???? from ourlast visit. This is our "Cheers" because we always feel like they are always glad we came...even though they might not know ourname yet. The Brussel sprouts were ???????????? as was the shrimp???? toast!! We love the atmosphere and the wait staff and food make it even better. Kenny was our waiter and he was incredible. I wish I... knew the host?s name and the bartender too because they were both over the top as well. All three made such a great diningexperience for us. This is my third time to go and every time has just been great. The food is so good. We had filet mignon,brussels sprouts, coast trash, and the best thing of all was the Boudin eggrolls. The atmosphere of the place was nice, and the outdoor seating was comfortable with a nice view. However, the food was lackluster... at best. I ate the blackened catfish with shrimp and grits, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. My friends ordered po boys, andthey were similarly unimpressed. One friend said, "they're making up for the poor quality of food by giving you way too much ofit." This was not true of my meal, in that the quantity was not too large. Our server was polite and pleasant, but the foodtook way too long to come. With so many excellent restaurants in close proximity, you would be well advised to make areservation elsewhere. Read more

Now, October 8th, 2022. We gave returned to a reopened Blue Marlin. We dined on the front veranda as the sun was setting The... wine and the grapefruit cocktail ???? was delicious. We omitted an appetizer tonight. Our dinner was redfish on grits withshrimp ????. Delicious. The other entrée was a mini filet with medium shrimp sided with a fresh potatoes au gratin . Verytender filet. Be aware, do not expect to fill up on this. It is a few ounces. Very tender. We retired to the inside bar forcoffee and a dessert. May We suggest to mot have staff sit at the bar and eat food and switch the telly to watch football. Badform. We hate ESPN and sports at a fine dining place. Alas, things change now In the beginning, a few years ago , This was thereview of the restsurant when it first opened a few years ago. The creation of this dining restaurant on the coast is a truegem. Nestled among the new hotel campus of Centennial Plaza, the blue Marlon is the finest if three eateries on this Fifty acrecampus resort. Huddled in the majestic live oak trees, the blue Marlon is a treat to fine in. The most enjoyable staff awaitsyour every need.
