Yes, cheap and no nonsense Japanese place with super nice waitresses. Everything we had was delicious, curry over rice, tonkatsu... nanchatte ramen, fried tofu, and takoyaki. Reasonably priced. The only drawback was the chopsticks. I don't know who theirsupplier is but these were some of the poorest quality single use chopsticks I have ever come by. Several pairs all but turnedinto splintered dust when we tried to use them. Doesn't matter tho, had a great time! They are popular and for good reason.Could be a long wait so prepare yourselves. I been coming here for more than 5 years. Wait time can exceed up to an hour in a typical busy day, but so worth it. They serve... you in large bowls, very reasonable prices, and most importantly the quality of the food, very tasty, in flavor and verydelicious. Read more

A well known busy little ramen spot! And the wait is SO worth it. It took us about an hour and a half (6 parties of 2 and a... party of 9 ahead of us) to get inside. The tonkatsu ramen was superb. Creamy, flavorful, and perfect. The tantan ramen was a afantastic balance of spicy and sour. Their homemade croquettes are crunchy and delicious! Be patient and help the Japaneseladies make your experience seamless! Glad we stopped by this spot! Read more

I discovered this place 17 years ago and ever since then, I was never disappointed. The pork cutlet omelette rice with curry... sauce is a must order for someone who isn't into ramen. Even the shio ramen ( salt base) is so flavorful. Bake blue mackerel iscrispy outside and soft inside with lots of yummy fatty flavor but not oily at all. Read more
