We sat for almost an hour before food started coming out. Once it did it was very good. Nice small plate concept. BYOB so you... might want to bring two bottles of wine as you will be there for a while. Read more
Our family loves this place! What a hidden gem and I wish it wasn’t. Tapas is for sure one of my favorite foods because it’s... nice to try a little bit of everything. Before, I had to travel all the way to Philly whenever I wanted tapas, now we are luckyenough to have a place in our backyards. We are always trying to spread the word of the amazing food, friendly staff, and cozyatmosphere. It’s BYOB so a good bottle of wine is a great compliment to food. The menu is amazing, and the chef is alwaysoffering delicious and interesting specials. We are a huge fan of the chicken and waffles and patatas bravas (worth checking thespecials menu for!) Terribly slow service. Got our order wrong. We ordered 5 items. 3 came promptly but I think they forgot to put the order in for... the other 2. The hostess was helping out because they were short staffed and she seemed to be overwhelmed and got the orderwrong. After another 40 mins they still got one of 2 remaining items wrong. I booked a reservation 3 weeks ago because the online menu intrigued us. Braise 116 had everything we look for when choosing a... restaurant for a special occasion. My reservation was at 5:30. My wife and I arrived at 5:15, the restaurant opens at 5pm. TheDoor was locked. We get seated and the two people in the restaurant were the cook and hostess, arguing with each other b/cneither were ready for the nights service. The menu presented was completely different then what was online. We asked about themenu and she said it changes all the time. I get that, but update your website with the new menus. They did try to make it rightby offering plates on the old menu that they had the ingredients for, only two tough. I will not visit again and I reallywanted to like this place Read more
