This is my first time trying Popeyes chicken after going past the Chicopee location several times on the bus. Since that this... place is closer to home I gave it try for the first time.???? So I ordered a classic chicken sandwich (not the meal) and 3chocolate Beignet. Chicken was kinda dry and the Korean looking guy gave me soggy fries for waiting over 20 minutes for 2 items.I ate at home because the lobby was about to close. I went past the entrance on my ebike because there was only enough room forone vehicle to go in and out. That needs to be investigated before a accident happens. The employees in the back looked likethey had no idea what they are doing and were walking around empty handed. But honestly, if your going to run a restaurant chainbusiness at least hire trained employees who has been in the restaurant business for longer than a day. Yes order numbers werenot in order as I agree with everyone else's comment. If you go to 5 guys you have have your order ready in half the time. I wasin no hurry tonight, I was just going home. They were good the first couple times we came here. However, now it seems they have gone down hill. The last few times we came... here, the chicken was dry and tough. We ordered a kids meal and they didn't tell us that there was no apple sauce, we had to goask them about it, they didn't even ask if we wanted a substitute. Today, they told us there was no apple sauce or apple juicewhich was nice, and they offered a different side. However, the lady taking the order was not listening and we had to repeat ourorder 3 times, and still at the window, they had to ask us again. And they STILL got our order incorrect. They gave us the wrongsandwich and when we went inside to ask them to switch it out, they asked "WHERES THE OTHER ONE?" like we were trying to scamthem out of a sandwich. Anyways. First week reviewers here need to remove the sticks from their rear ends and lower their lofty expectations. If you're upset... that your order took too long while also mentioning just how insanely busy the place was and how new the staff is.. maybe youshouldn't be eating at a place it's first week. That's what happens opening week at a fast food joint. It's not the Ritz. Givethem a chance. Now that the insanity has calmed and the employees have had time to settle in, the Popeyes here is really good.The chicken is moist, unlike some others around. Staff is friendly, this is as good as you're going to get for fast food friedchicken. Seriously some of y'all need to chill the eff out and maybe not be so rude.
