We loved our dining experience at the Almonak. The food was worth a bit of wait as it was busy: It was Sunday mid morning; prime... Brunch time, so next time I will be making a reservation. We had a Five Star breakfast at Almonak Halifax. Staff are amazingly friendly. Most of our party had the chicken and waffles,... which were amazing. This dish does take a few minutes to prepare. It came with a honey hot sauce. I had the farmer breakfast,but was in envy of the others in our party. They have an Indian spiced dish that I will order next time! Went here for my birthday brunch. I had the special - an Eggs Benny with duck confit and a flight of mimosas. The Eggs Benny was... probably one of the best I've ever had. Loved the mimosas except for the charcoal lemonade was not my favourite. Service wasgood. Coffee was great! Menu was creative. Definitely would return. Bright, modern atmosphere.
