My husband and I went to Kofuku for the first time this evening, and it did not disappoint! The red curry was so fresh and the... homemade sauce was delicious! Kofuku is one of my favourite restaurants in Halifax. Every time I've been there, service has been so warm and genuine; the food... is fresh, delicious and beautiful with high quality ingredients; and the space is always impeccably clean (such a transformationfrom the old Mary's- it's unrecognizable). Amanda is one of the best servers in the city, and her passion for her family'sbusiness is unmistakable. Their sake menu is very well curated - I highly recommend getting a flight. This is currently my favourite place to eat! The food is amazing and the vibe is perfect, along with a friendly staff. We... haven?t had to wait for a seat or very long for our food and it has been exceptional. If you like Sushi or Thai food than thisis a must try spot and I?d imagine everything on their menu is super delicious, (although it?s hard not to order the same thingyou had last time because you?ll have enjoyed it so much and be craving it), like the best tuna nigiri, the Kofuku signatureroll and their tasty brown rice tea. Writing this review makes me want to go there right now and I just finished supper. Theginger beef is also wicked good, as is the sampler appetizer, (especially the beef cakes ????).
