Worst donair plate I've ever had (dry, old meat, no sauce and flavorless) and the service was unfriendly and as if they didn't care about me (servers talked with their friends and let my plate sit there as I waited). My wife got the chicken shawarma bowl and it was only slightly better than the donair plate, which isn't saying much. There are so many other genuine and actually good tasting fast food restaurants in the area that you should almost never consider this place as an option.
I ate a protein bowl with chicken shawarma on Sunday, July 3rd at around 7pm. I immediately felt off after eating it, and was sick the entire next day throwing up. Definitely food poisoning. I was in town from AB for work and had to miss all meetings as a result of the food sickness. Tried to let the location know by calling, but no answer and voicemail box full, so here we are with a Google review ?????
Mixed grill was amazing! The gyro and chicken were tasty, juicy, and moist.
Great food for an ok price. Portions are always better with the dinner plates. I don?t get the wraps anymore as they?re so small no matter the ?serving?. Flavour is great and this is always one of the choices for dinner
Shish kabob > chicken was good ( container is almost 8 inch diameter) the chicken pieces are lame ? taste like 6.5/10 Rice they use 6/10 probably some cheap quality brown grain , on the up side extra skewer costed me 1.5 so not bad at all Falafel > probably they have roo be fried like 4 times before like breaded and fried again, they might look decent in the picture but they were not edible. And pita , store bought nothing special Salad is good , This meal was made at 1 hr before closing , Uhh that's it , Their chicken shawarma plate is better but not amazing. Not just one person is to blame , it's the whole restaurant, cook, trainer, hiring manager, and owner. Overall for this meal 4/10 , go for McDonald's or some fast food chain , they will get you same food almost every time
We were planning on going to Johnny K's up the street, but it had closed permanently and a sign on the door suggested coming here, their "sister" location. The location was clean and well put together. The staff were actually pretty curt and unfriendly. The food was just "ok". There were sparse accompaniments like tomatoes and onions and whatnot, but it was like they forgot to add the extras (just seemed to be 99% donair meat in the wrap), and not enough sauce so the flavors weren't balanced.
This is the extra large donair with extra meat. It?s definitely packed into a small pita. If this is extra large with extra meat I?d hate to see the regular. The look on my face is one only replicated by the disappointed wemen i rarely bring home. I?ve had tacos bigger then this. I almost turned around to return this sad little donair. 18$ I should of just held on to. Mezza I?m disappointed and I feel ripped off.
It was my first time to have Lebanese food in Halifax. The quality of the food was great with fresh ingredients properly mixed up and combined. The only problem is that it?s always hard to find a paring lot nearby, but it?s worth it.
