Beautiful restaurant in the heart of downtown with waterfront seating. Our food was delicious! The baked Brie was to die for.... Our server was amazing. She helped me find something to eat, keeping in mind I had a seafood allergy. Will visit again. Read more
This was a delightful place. We arrived at around 5:30pm and were told it would be about an hour wait for food. This was... something we had heard at another place and opted out of waiting. The difference? Pickford & Black offered to seat us while wewaited. We each ordered a cocktail and placed our food order relatively quickly. Both cocktails were absolutely delicious. Afteraround 50 minutes (and not being hassled after declining to order a 2nd drink each,), the food arrived. I had the crispy chickensandwich. It's honestly one of the best I've ever had. I'd 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place to eatalong the boardwalk. Read more
Came to Pickford & Black while visiting Halifax with my grandmother and mother. Service was quick and polite. The food was... great, I ordered a tasty chicken sandwich with fries. Unfortunately, the patio was closed when I came due to poor whether,though the patio did look pretty nice. Seemed like a good place to come when visiting the Halifax waterfront and downtown.Highly recommend. Read more

Stopped here with the family for dinner, we were told there would have been a 45 minute wait, but a group canceled and we were... seated immediately. Clearly a popular spot, so we were lucky for sure. Food was fantastic, all 5 of us really enjoyed our meals. Server was great (Michael I think), solid beer selection, excellent view and nice atmosphere and some some pretty good musicto boot.
