Absolutely SUPERB!!! My husband, daughter, son-in-law and myself dined at Rasa this evening for the first time and we were blown... away from start to finish. The impeccable service, the authentic, savory meals (from starters to desserts,) the deliciousspecialty drinks (Mango Lassi and Martini Espresso,) the laughs with our amazing server, having the Chef introduce himself toour table and relaxing ambiance, made our experience a memorable one. I am writing this honest review on Aug 19, 2022 after my lunch there with my family. I read most of the previous negative... comments and I must say it is a completely different place now. I never thought I would say this about an Indian restaurant thatit is not you regular run of the mill place, it is upscale and quality food to match. If you are expecting big portions or quickservice, this is not the place. I would categorize it as a fine dining experience. Every dish was prepared fresh and very tasty.The food arrived approximately 30 min after ordering. Their butter naan was super light and fluffy, other curries like Chickenkorma and Mutton seekh Curry was excellent too. I will definitely recommend this place and visit them again. We got takeout dinner for 9 people. Mix of vegetarian and meat dishes. We have tried many Indian restaurants around the world.... Flavour and quality was good. Meat portions were disappointingly small, like 5 pieces of meat floating in sauce for each meatdish. Definitely not up to par on this front and we did not get good value for $$$. Read more

One of the best food I had in Halifax but the service was awful. One of the person was vegetarian and they forgot to bring the... veg dish. We had to fetch the person for anything we needed each time. I believe they are trying to give fine dining feel butthe service and portion size has disappointed us otherwise the food is really great. I wish they had given better service to ourguests. Read more
