great staff, good atmosphere, good food. jagerbombs are dangerous, but at 3 for $15, you basically have to order a round.

I?m 29 years old and I look 29 years old. But the bouncers said they could not let me in because my Quebec medicare card is considered a secondary ID, and they said they only accept primary IDs.The whole things sound pretty sus to me since I?ve used my secondary ID to buy liquor in Halifax and get into other bars (if you?ve made it this far in the review, go to Durty Nelly?s instead).

Went in for some drinks and decided to get a pitcher ($15 on the menu) rather than $7.50 , I believe, for a glass. The $15 was definitely the selling point since it was more bang for the buck. Once the bill came it was $17.25, which was obviously surprising. I pointed out to the waiter what the menu said and he said the menu changed 2 weeks ago but it was not correctly updated on the menu. He then said he could ask his manager, but "they probably won't do anything about it". You can't deceive your customers with pricing and expect them to pay more when the bill comes. Regardless, my partner did not want to make a fuss so he paid and left. Otherwise, the service and food was good... but again, very poor way of handling this!

This place was recommended as a decent place for a reasonable price. That is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. From the moment we arrived the music was too loud and we could barely even speak to each other. We sat and waited for someone to serve us after being told to sit anywhere. Eventually we had a menu and ordered water and our meal. A salad and a burger will not usually take too long. My wife mentioned we may not be a priority because we were not drinking. When our food arrived it was decent. The burger was good and my wife's salad looked good. She is on a restrictive diet and can only eat small portions, so was not able to eat more than 1/3 of her bowl. I asked for a to-go container and a bill. The waitress said no problem. She came back with the bill and debit machine. I again asked her about the to-go container and she said they don't do that anymore. This is after I paid and tipped her fairly well considering the service. I'm pretty sure this place offers take out, so I don't understand. All the waitress could offer was an apology. Was the food good? It was decent. Will I go back? NO! Would I recommend it to others? NO!

Only ok. Not great if you have any eating or food restrictions you need to consider. We were told about this place from some other visitors to the city, as the idea of finding an inexpensive supper was appealing after a full day of expensive tourist-ing. When we arrived we were able to sit on the patio which was lovely. We had a look at the menu, as I am limited in what I am able to eat as I am 3 months post op from a surgery that effects the kinds and quantities of food I can eat in a sitting. I was able to find one thing - a salad - that was suitable on the menu. I ordered it with the plan to take what I didn't finish home (as I can only eat small amounts at a time). There was nothing on the menu to indicate that this would be an issue, however when we asked for a takeout container at the end of the meal, we were told that they don't allow that anymore. I was only able to eat about 1/3 of my salad, and had to leave the rest there. The good news is that it wasn't crazy expensive ($6.95 + around $3 for added chicken). It was just disappointing that I couldn't bring the rest of my paid-for food with me for later. My husband was upset on my behalf, as he knows how difficult it can be for me to find things when we go out. His burger was good (especially for the price), and would have likely become a regular customer, while he's working in town, but he was put off on how there was an issue in bringing home food that was paid for. If this was a buffet, or all-you-can-eat place, of course having a take out container for leftovers isn't an option. They also make that clear when you eat at those types of places. But when you fully pay for a single meal, including the extra for add-ons, you should be able to take it home with you, or at the VERY least, make it clear (on the menu, posted somewhere in the restaurant, etc.) that take out containers are not provided.

Great server, great food, amazing drinks. The amount we ate and drank for 100$ was amazing. Fast and friendly. Would recommend 100%
