Very mediocre food. We tried 2 sandwiches, a salad and the smoothie. The smoothie was good, but not worth the price. The food (for 2 people) was around $70 (before tip) and definitely not worth the price. Very tasteless and just not worth it. I can't believe the good reviews - it must be because Halifax has very limited vegan/vegetarian food options!
Halifax's one and only full vegan grocery store! They also have a restaurant serving delicious bowls, sandwiches, smoothies and more. Worth a trip!
I stop in at Spring House every couple of weeks and buy a few frozen meals to take home. The beauty of their product as you know you?re getting extremely healthy food without all the garbage ingredients that you would get in a supermarket style frozen food section. Everything is made with care in their kitchen with good healthy plant-based ingredients. I usually pick up a few other things while I?m there including Samosa or some kind of a sweet snack. What a terrific store and a wonderful asset in our community.
This gem of a store deserves more stars then Google allows. The staff are super friendly, always willing to help with any questions and go above and beyond. The food is delicious and portions are very generous. The grocery market is a like a candy store for anyone vegan, endless options and products you cannot find anywhere else! Only downside is the parking situation, but a very very small downside compared to the positives!
What a place, Owners are amazing, staff are so nice, food is so good, desserts are delicious and the market is just a perfect addition. I always love this spot and am a regular here.
I had the mango creamsicle smoothie and my partner had the green dream smoothie. We were both really impressed with the flavours. We had lemon ginger shots for health, and ate two different chocolate dessert bars from the fridge which were heavenly. We brought back their coconut bacon and cashew parmesan to Ontario as souvenirs for friends. A beautiful space with very friendly staff!
I tried the Mediterranean salad for $9. I am allergic to nightshades (cross-contamination is ok). It was no issue to take the bell pepper out and to look up the ingredients for the tofu and dressing. They have an ingredient catalogue at the counter. Great service! Great tasting , fresh, plant-based food! Dressings comes separately. Thus, one can apply just as much or little as one likes. I already had started eating when I took the photo - sorry!
A vegan, plant-based, restaurant with both savoury and sweet options. They have both cold and hot drinks as well. They have reasonable accessibility for mobility (there are two washrooms and at least one is accessibility friendly). There is lots of natural light. You can pay either cash or card/tap.
